Service description
This type of dwelling is characterized
by having several rooms (more than four) to accommodate, mainly
visitors who need to live in Santiago for several months. However,
some residences allow shorter stays (say for a few days) (see details);
also others operate as if they were hostels. Bathrooms are generally
shared. Houses have a garden, dining room, living room, and other
resting rooms. In most of them, cooking and laundering is permitted.
Administration of this type of dwelling is the responsibility of
persons or families who may or may not live in the same residence
(see details). None of them offer food service but instead they
allow the use of the kitchen facilities. Prices include all common
expenses, such as electricity, water, and gas, as well as bed sheets
and covers.
