PAYMENT PROCEDURES & AGENCY'S FEE FOR FURNISHED ROOMS
SERVICE CHARGES AND RENTALS
What is this fee?
Our agency charges a fee for its services to help you find a furnished room or apartment for rental
in Chile. This fee is charged to cover the agency operating
expenses. Its amount is independent on the rental price;
it varies according to the length of your stay.
When is the
fee charged?
This fee must be paid together with the guarantee deposit or no later than the time when the housing is rented. To secure
the housing reservation it is preferable that you send this
fee in advance by using either of the methods outlined
below.

• Our agency fees are not paid monthly, they are paid per semester
• The exchange rate to USD DOLLARS and EUROS are for
reference only; the official values are those expressed in CHILEAN
PESOS (CLP)
• Tax included in the rate (for brokery activities)
• For rentals over five or six months or one academic semester, our agency fees will be charged as a new period up to a maximum of one year (for stays from the second year or more, we do not charge any new commission)
• We do not rent for less than a five-month stay

METHOD OF PAYMENT OF THE AGENCY FEE AND RESERVATION DEPOSIT
To secure your reservation you have to send the amount corresponding to the agency fee and the 100% of the guarantee deposit for the room, by means of either of the methods of money transfer to Chile:
OPTION 1: WISE.COM www.wise.com addressed to the Directress of Housing in Chile (please request
details via e-mail).
OPTION 2: REVOLUT.COM www.revolut.com addressed to the Directress of Housing in Chile (please request
details via e-mail).
OPTION 3: WESTERN UNION www.westernunion.com addressed to the Directress of Housing in Chile (please request
details via e-mail).
Their commissions are at your cost and have to be paid additionally to the total amount we need to get here in Chile. Wise, Revolut and Western Union commissions are lower than an international bank transfer.
We will acknowledge the reception of these funds via e-mail
sending a receipt (PDF file) as well as we will give you all the
accommodation details as housekeeper's name and address.
If you do not wish to pay thereservation fees in advance, we will not be able
to secure the reservation of your preferred lodging. Instead of it, we suggest first arrive in Santiago, Chile, contacting us again in order to request a visit in person to the residence or apartment.
PAYMENT OF THE MONTHLY
LODGING RENTAL
The monthly rental must be paid directly to the host (housekeeper)
of each housing. Our agency will not receive them.
The monthly rentals must be paid in CHILEAN PESOS and in cash or via Wise.com or Revolut.com. No
foreign bank checks, traveler checks, foreign currency cash, nor
credit cards are acceptable.
IN THE EVENT OF ABANDONMENT OF THE INITIALLY SELECTED DWELLING
Keep in mind that in case of your early departure from the housing where you have signed a lease contract (in the middle of a semester), it will mean losing your guarantee deposit due to non-compliance with this rental agreement, and regardless of whether you have previously informed that you will leave the residence or aparment. The guarantee deposit will be retained by the housing's owner as a compensation.
By other hand, the agency fee is not refundable either, since it is understood that our service and the reservation procedure, have already been executed.
REGARDING THE LENGTH
OF STAY
It is important that you define the total length of your stay when
you make your reservation, since that will help
us to define the agency fee that will be charged, as well as help us
to determine when that housing will become available for another
visitor.
